Adelaide Ripley age 88 of Howard City passed away May 5 at Spectrum Health United Memorial in Greenville. She was born July 10, 1923 in Westmoreland ,PA the daughter of Victor and Emily ( Jurosek ) Novak. During her working years she worked at the Lakeview Hospital as a nurses aide for many years. She was a resident of Howard City for 47 years and was a member of the Howard City VFW Post and The Howard City Conservation Club. She loved playing bingo and spending time with her family. Surviving are Seven Children Robert ( Cheryl ) Ripley of Sand Lake Emily Carter of Howard City Richard Ripley of Coral Joyce Ripley of Howard City Diane Harris of Lowell Jane ( Andrew ) Zenk of Howard City Joe Ripley of Howard City 13 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents , husband Manford and a son Ron and brother Bruno Private family services took place on Monday at The Reynolds Cemetery . Arrangements were entrusted to the Heckman Funeral home of Howard City.
